The Real Club Náutico de Valencia (RCNV), founded in 1903, is one of the most prestigious yacht clubs in the whole of Spain. It welcomes prominent nautical events such as HRH The Queen's Regatta and fully endorsed the 32nd America's Cup held in Valencia. In 1999, it was named Club of the Year.

In 2005, the RCNV decided to embark upon an ambitious project to extend its facilities by constructing a state-of-the-art base for private motor and sailing yachts, Valencia Yacht Base, so meeting the demand across Europe and overseas.
